We have an annual tradition of meeting the Brown family in French Lick to celebrate the holidays and go on the "Polar Express." We stay at the fabulous French Lick Springs hotel and enjoy all of the amenities that are available there. This year, for a whole host of reasons, we arranged to have our Polar Express experience on New Year's Day, so right after the babies were born, our family took off for French Lick in southern Indiana.

Every year we have a great time on the train--they read the Polar Express aloud, and a cast of characters including a conductor, Santa Claus, and elves keep us entertained with singing, dancing, hot chocolate, and cookies while we take our ride to the North Pole and back.

After our Polar Express adventure, we went to bed and awoke the next morning and had fun at breakfast and swimming in their fantastic pool before heading home to Indy to visit the babies.
