Halloween 2015

This year's Halloween festivities featured a trip to Zoo Boo, pumpkin carving, and a fun night of trick-or-treating. It all began a few weeks earlier when we were choosing costumes. Moira had a hard time deciding what she wanted but finally settled on a peacock costume (due to some tough parameters that consisted basically of "no more princess costumes"), and Hannah took one look around and immediately decided on a rainbow unicorn costume. In the end, Moira decided to wear an existing Snow White costume for Halloween...but I captured a couple of photos in her peacock costume...I loved it.

We've managed almost every year to find time to carve pumpkins, and this year was no exception. Alan helped the girls create their relatively simple masterpieces this year. As you can see below, they were quite proud.

On Halloween, Moira dressed up in her peacock costume for a few minutes before switching back to her trusty Snow White costume. From there, the girls had a great time getting ready and playing outside (this year's weather was beautiful) before heading over to the Charlton's for a lovely evening.

Love her attitude in this costume!
