Easter morning was absolutely beautiful. We love the tradition of getting in our "fancy dresses" to go to church to celebrate Easter, and we were excited this year that Aunt Kate, Uncle Scott, and Alan all joined us.
After church, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the day. This year, the girls had to find their Easter baskets by going on a scavenger hunt throughout the house (to all of their favorite places). They included:
 |
| Finding jelly beans at the breakfast bar where they eat... |
 |
| Finding chalk and games in the basement where they play... |
 |
| Finding Goldieblox in the living room where they build things... |
 |
| Finding PJs and lovies in Grandma's bedroom where they watch movies... |
 |
| And finding their baskets under the piano where they play... |
The girls were excited by all of the little things in their baskets, and Uncle Scott caught all of these amazing photos of them, including the one of them below with Grandma and Grandpa.
Afterwards, we went outside for an impromptu photo shoot and another Easter Egg hunt at Grandma's house.

Afterwards, Moira was adamant about changing into "comfy clothes," and Hannah decided she wanted to race everyone around the little walkway in my parents' back yard. She was very funny because she does not like to lose, and she actually blocked me when I tried to pass her on the way to the finish line. Alan made her incredibly angry because he took a short cut, and she practically had a temper tantrum when Moira won later on. In fact, my cousin Sarah had to do one more race so that Hannah could win, and we found her new rabbit, "Carrots," to help her feel better. We have quite a bit of work to do, apparently, on helping our youngest to understand sportsmanship.
After all of the running outside, we had a delightful Easter brunch inside with Uncle John's family, Les Stewart, and all of our family. We even found "Easter crackers" at the shop and shared the tradition we normally reserve for Christmas with our extended family. The girls loved it (and so did everyone else).
Afterwards, we took a nap and refueled before heading out to the NCAA Final Four Fanfest that Indianapolis was hosting downtown. More on that soon...
