Twin visits to St. Louis and Indianapolis

Just two weeks after returning home from the U.K. and starting kindergarten, we traveled to St. Charles, MO for the weekend because we hadn't been all year and Grandma Jean was in town to celebrate her 70th birthday with her sisters. The girls were excited to see their cousins and Grandma Jean.

We kicked off Saturday morning with a trip to Chick-Fil-A where we played hard and then had a cookie cake celebration. Grandma Jean (called Uncle Jean by my cousin Marty's children) had a great time with all the kiddos.

Later in the day (after naps), we managed to make it to St. Charles' annual street festival. There was a kids zone with lots of bounce houses where the cousins played for a while, a section of the fair with old-fashioned machines, and lots of yummy food. We had a great time, and I'll always remember how excited Hannah was to ride a big yellow school bus to the festival because she could be like her big sister Moira.

Two weeks later, Marty, Katie, Connor, and Hunter traveled to Indianapolis to visit us, and we had a great couple of days together. We went to the 100 Acres Park at the Art Museum on one day and to the Children's Museum the following day. And we all went out to an Indy Eleven game as well. It was a really fun weekend. Following are some of the excellent photos taken by Uncle Scott over the course of the weekend (mixed in with a few of my own as well)!
