Devon XI: Our last day in Devon at Berry Head

Berry Head is a beautiful place just southeast of Brixham. Its coastal cliffs are breathtaking and the fact that a fort of one sort or another has been around since the Iron Age is pretty amazing. Alan wanted to visit the entire time we were in England, and we finally made it on the last day. Moira and Hannah's imaginations ran wild. They pretended that the sentry's post was their house, and they chased each other all around the nature preserve. Moira appears to have no fear of heights, as you will see in some of the images below. After a morning snack at Berry Head, we went home, where Moira declared that we would have a picnic in the fairy garden before packing up, heading to London, and flying home to Indianapolis.

It was a wonderful three weeks in the U.K.--time flew by entirely too fast. We miss our family and friends there so much and hope that they will visit us soon in the States (nudge, nudge...hint, hint)!
