Our new house is really an old house, built in 1964, with lots and lots more room. There's also quite a bit of wood paneling (which Alan likes and I don't), and the kitchen is so dated that there is orange linoleum on the floor and the backsplash! Nonetheless, the house and neighborhood have exceeded our expectations. Here are some quick photos of us moving in.

The girls were very excited. Alan had hyped the new house be referring to it as the "princess castle" and the girls loved exploring. Moira was very excited to have her own room for about a week, and then she wanted to move back in with Hannah, which we thought was so sweet.

Uncle Scott and Aunt Kristin gave it to the girls

Moira and Hnanah played at Claire's house while we worked on the house...

And they also helped to "unpack" and then put on whatever they would find...

We had lots of visitors the first couple of weeks, including Julian, baby Fletcher, and Sarah
More to come soon--Alan's parents came to visit for a few weeks, and they helped us to make our house feel like home.
