Way back in late April before Moira's preschool finished for the summer, we were invited to visit the Children's Museum Preschool "Zoo." This project was the culmination of students visiting the Indianapolis Zoo and studying certain animals and their habitats. Moira's class was focused on the forest. Our admission to the Preschool Zoo was $2 to go to the Heifer International project, but we gave much more because Moira saved money at home, so she also learned about helping others.

The students also learned a lot about signs and maps. So, you'll notice that they designed the signs and maps as well.

I think my favorite part of the preschool zoo was the Oceans exhibit. They were so creative with hanging all of the ocean animals above us and then lining the windows with shells, sand, and coral reef. The girls loved the oceans room.
