We had so much fun celebrating the holidays this year! Over the course of a couple of weekends, we went to a number of fun events in Indy with the girls. Georgia Street (where the Superbowl Party was last year) hosted a Christmas celebration of sorts one weekend, so we headed down with Aunt Kate and Uncle Sock. The highlight for me was that Moira wanted to go "ice skating" on this synthetic ice rink that the city set up. I was a bit reticent to let her participate, but she was insistent. And it turns out that she had a great time. In fact, she was amazing on the "ice." She absolutely loved it.

We also spent an afternoon decorating our tree. The girls were so cute this year as they were both much more into the idea of wrapping tinsel and hanging ornaments on the tree.
My parents celebrate the holiday every year by going to Yuletide, the Indianapolis Symphony's Christmas concert. Both Moira and Hannah were absolutely enthralled with the entire performance, which consisted of much singing, dancing, puppetry, and something called circque du symphonie (circus performers for the symphony). I was so proud of both of them, but especially Hannah, because she sat through the entire performance! Amazing!

Alan and I made our annual trip to Celebration Crossing, at the State Museum, where they have a little train that the girls love. Hannah is getting so big--she was happy to ride on her own (without sitting on my lap). It was a fun morning (minus another meltdown due to not being able to see Santa), and I'm so glad we have this tradition!
