Believe it or not, we've come to my final post about our week in Phoenix with my brother's family. Thanksgiving Day itself went by in a flash. We (David, Marianne, and I) cooked up a storm while the grandparents, Alan, and the kids went to a park. Once we had everything ready, it was truly a lovely dinner together. And it was also Jack's birthday! Moira loves celebrating birthdays (anyone's birthdays), so she was excited to sing for Jack.

For our last day in Phoenix, we decided to head to a nice park (the weather was so beautiful while we were in Phoenix), and then go see Santa at the end of the day. The park had a great little train that Moira and Hannah loved riding on, and there was also a carousel that was fun for the kids too. Of course, playing on the playground is always a hit as well. Emma is becoming quite the photographer, so some of these photos may be hers. She and Clare also routinely alternated as Mother Hens over Moira and Hannah.

After our trip to the park, we ventured out to the mall...on Black Friday. Needless to say, it was crowded, but we managed to survive our trip. A highlight for me was that Moira loves stuffed animals, and she had the best time making her own teddy bear at the build-a-bear workshop. Clare showed her the ropes...below is a picture of them giving their new stuffed animals a bath.
And last, but not least, at Santa's workshop, Hannah had the best time waiting in line because she loved all of the lights that floated around on the floor. We got a great picture of the kids with Santa, and it was a fabulous, albeit, crazy way to end our week with the Lukens. Can't wait to see them again!
