The new Baby Mackintosh in the making!

Some of you have known for a long time, others guessed from some photos around Christmas, and for those of you who didn't pick up on it, we are expecting our second child to arrive around mid-May! Aside from the usual tiredness (which may have something to do with chasing a 2-year-old and working a lot) everything has been going well with the pregnancy so far. I am around 28 weeks and in the final stretch.

We decided not to find out if it's a boy or girl this time around. I know I am a big planner, but we already have everything we need for a girl, and even for a boy, all we may need are some boy clothes. We're planning to have the children share the same room after a few months, until we move out of our current house, which likely won't be for another year or two.

My biggest concern is how to prepare Moira for the reality that a baby brother or sister is on the way! She does not understand yet, though she will kiss the "baby in mama's tummy." She loves baby dolls, so I am sure she will be a help to us (running to get diapers, lotion, etc.). However, we have no doubt that she is going to be shocked by not receiving so much attention, moving to a bed instead of a crib, sharing her room, etc.

Anyway, we're up for suggestions on how to help her transition, baby names, and any other morsels of advice you may want to offer! Enjoy the rest of the pictures!
